Saturday, January 29th, 2011 –
You will start your day early with the call “Good Morning Fly Boys” and then off to have the breakfast of champions to prepare you for your mission. You will be taken to the mission briefing where you will learn what your mission will entail and what your chances are of lasting through the day. Before the sun sets you will be one of the crew as you make a one and a half hour bombing run in one of only eight B-17s still flying today. You will also experience the world’s most realistic B-17 simulation. You will feel, smell and hear the sensations of a bombing mission over occupied Europe in 1944. The evening will be one to remember as you are welcomed back to base and celebrate the allied victory and your successful run.
