Our country needed its best patriots to stop the madness and end the evil. They did. Now you can meet them and for a weekend become one of them.
Good morning, Fly Boys (and Girls)! Your mission? A trip back
in time to experience first hand what it was like to defend your country in the greatest battle of all time, World War II. Five percent of these men were lost on each mission, yet they continued to voluntarily board these bombers and fight for the freedom we enjoy today.
Relive the glory and commemorate their bravery with three days and two nights of action-packed activities that celebrate the B17 Bomber.

Talk to a Veteran WWII Airman, fly in one of the only 8 B-17 Flying Fortresses left flying in the world for an hour and a half bombing mission- even enjoy the hit tunes of Glenn Miller from a 5 piece orchestra. From the moment you arrive to the afternoon you depart, every detail has been carefully planned to ensure your encounter is the most authentic and realistic experience possible.

Arrive or fly into Savannah Airport in time for a welcome reception at the Mighty Eighth's Museum

Feast on fabulous food and wine while listening to a Veteran B17 flyer share his experiences aboard one of the most famous planes in history

Awake the next morning at 7:00 am for breakfast and a traditional Mission Briefing
- Experience the rush of a Flying Fortress B17 Bomber inside a realistic, 4D simulation session

After lunch, climb aboard the B-17 Liberty Belle for a real hour and a half flight back in time and discover what it was like to face the enemy in this magnificent war machine. On this flight you will be able to climb inside the front nose bubble of the bomber, the tail of the plane and even fire a replica 50 caliber machine gun from the waist of the fortress just as the airman did on one of their many terrifying flights over enemy territory.

Gather later that evening at the Mighty Eighth's Officer's Club to celebrate the Allied Victory
